There is a Conductive Education centre in Invercargill we have been wanting to visit, and we want to do that before winter comes. Today, we finally visited Invercargill.
CE centre was nice and tidy place. We introduced COGY to manager and conductor, dropped of brochure.
It was half raining in Invercargill. We wanted to pedal around the town and park, but I gave up. I was not feeing the greatest, not worth it if I catch cold.
Next destination is MS society. Here, we received unexpectedly huge response. Video and photos were taken and we talked about their next monthly meeting where people with neurological conditions and their supporters get together. COGY was invited to the meeting so that people can see and try it. It will be on Thursday 2nd of May, just about 1 month from now.
After this, rain has gone. Next, on the way to “Accelerate physio”, we found southern cross hospital and hoped in. They kindly advised us about “southern mobility” and “southland hospital”.
I pedalled around the town and find, Invercargill is flat, just like south Dunedin or Christchurch. Also, the traffic is very quiet and safe to pedal. The only downside of this may be, in case we stuck on COGY (on the curb etc), we may have to wait quite a while until someone find us in trouble (where it is only seconds in Auckland). Probably the main part of the town is within 5 mins pedal from this end to the other. With COGY, all the chore can be done in an hour or 2 (well, depends on the chore, of course..).
It seems we missed a chance to be on TV ad just in a few hours!!
